Neurokinetic Therapy®

Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) is a system that compliments traditional Osteopathy by identifying specific muscle compensations, imbalances and movement patterns that are at the root cause of your pain and symptoms.

We use manual muscle tests to assess which muscles are overworking and which ones are under-working. NKT protocols are based on neuroscience and the motor control center in the brain.

These protocols reprogram subconscious movement patterns by correcting compensations. 

Osteopathic techniques are used to release overworking muscles, and muscle energy techniques or exercises are used to activate under-working muscles. This reinforces and reprograms correct movement patterns.
